Do you have a collection of Playbills that you keep in your memorabilia box? As an organizer I say you cant keep everything especially if you have a small space. But if there are some things that mean the world to you, they don't take up a lot of space and you admire them often then I say go for it! I do like to keep Playbills from the theater and the ticket stubs because they have the date of the play. I also save the receipt from the restaurant where we had dinner before the play. Its fun to see a new restaurant we tried and the prices! Weather it was a long dinner or burgers and fries on our way to Shakespeare.

There is no charge to recycle your items.

Do you know the shelf life of the products in your home? How many washes do you get out of that shampoo bottle or how many yogurts can you eat before they expire? Its something to think about each time you purchase an item. Especially the bottle that has 20% more or when you buy in bulk. Just remember the more you bring home the more you have to store until it is used up, goes bad or gets thrown away.

Are you constantly changing batteries in your kids toys but cant find the right tools? Toys that require batteries often get drained quickly due to usage or not getting switched off. So they need to be changed often. Changing the batteries can be difficult because special tools are needed to open battery doors. Common tools like tiny screwdrivers are often needed. You almost never use these anywhere else but its important to have handy for the battery replacements.
Set up an area to store and organize tools for your kids toys. Since kids toys come with lots of special instructions from assembly to battery requirements, its better to be organized and have the tools required and not spend your time looking for the right tools.

Have you lost your keys again? If it has become on ongoing struggle to keep your house keys organized...stop! Go beyond just trying to organize your keys. Make it easier on yourself when your keys are buried at the bottom of your purse or you've lost them again. Get keyless locks! Use a keypad to unlock your doors or even use your fingerprint. Wow! How many toys do you have floating around your living room? Some toys come with a few pieces and some come with a gazillion! Did someone say Legos? Did I just hear Polly Pockets? Not only do you have lots of toys, they are small as well! Its a lot easier to keep these toys organized if you have small storage containers to hold them. An easy solution to store small catagories is those little shoe boxes that your kids shoes come in. So hang on to those little gems to store toys. These boxes are also great for photos! They are small, easy to lift and best of all they are free!
